Here at 5Point Film, we believe in supporting the future of adventure filmmaking by creating opportunities for emerging storytellers in our genre. Fortunately, we’re not alone. We’re teaming up with our good friends at Stio to launch a program focused on helping up-and-coming (budding, emerging) filmmakers follow their passions and kickstart their careers.
This year at 5Point Adventure Film Festival in Carbondale on April 22-26, Stio and 5Point
will present the 1st Annual Emerging Filmmakers Pitch Event in which five finalists will pitch
their film ideas for a chance to win $10,000 to bring their concept to the big screen.
The winning film will be premiered at 5Point Film Fest 2021.

filmmaking/visual storytelling and have limited experience with sponsorship,
