Sunni Raleigh
Sunni is a senior at Colorado Rocky Mountain School, with a passion for human rights issues. Her dream is to create a documentary featuring interviews with interracially/internationally adopted kids and their families about their different philosophies and takes on adoption, as well as what it means to grow up in an interracial family, particularly in the era of Trump.
Martin Salcedo
Martin is a junior from Roaring Fork High School who has a passion for cars and everything it takes to keep them running. For his dream, he will be fixing up an old junker and turning it into a working car again. He plans to display this project at Roaring Fork High School, as a way to inspire other students who are interested in learning more about auto mechanics.
Chloe Gonzales
A sophomore at Colorado Rocky Mountain School, Chloe has a passion for activism, cinematography, photography, and writing. Her dream is to make a film about the people of Abasolo Rodeo in central Mexico and the way of the working people, and of their outlook on life and what it means to live wholesomely, encapsulated in the commitment to culture and olds ways of life compared to that of the modern world.
William Luckett
Lilly is a senior at Colorado Rocky Mountain School. A Carbondale local and accomplished rider that uses her horse skills in a therapeutic riding program with children on the autism spectrum. Lily will travel to William is a junior at Roaring Fork High School, who will be using his Dream Project grant to attend NYU's Tisch School of the Arts camp this summer. William has performed with many theater companies, including Theatre Aspen, SOL theatre, Stage Door, and Jayne Gottlieb productions, and hopes this camp will be another step on his way to a career in theater.
Bear Matthews
Bear, a junior at Basalt High School, who will be embarking on a valley-wide portrait photography project, which will include a short film with an emphasis on culture and the beauty in the diversity of opinions and beliefs found throughout our valley.
William Orben
A Basalt High School senior, Will's passions are community and music. His dream will allow him to set up a recording studio in which he can compose his own songs of inspiration, further his passion for sharing music with the community.
Moises Murillo
Moises is a tenth grader at Basalt High School, whose dream is to share the outdoors with kids who typically haven't had the opportunity due to a variety of life circumstances. Knowing the power of the outdoors in his own life, he plans to create a space for local students to go on backpacking trips to introduce them to the power of nature.
